Why
are Friends Needed?
St
David’s is an historic building and is a continuing presence
in the community. It is well
loved by many: as a place of beauty and peace, as a refuge for prayer,
and as a place of worship.
It is the
preservation of the building and the churchyard to which the Friends
are particularly dedicated, providing support to the regular
congregation in this work.
What
Friends Can Do
Friends can
help in a number of ways:
With their time
and skills, e.g. in the regular upkeep of the churchyard and building
maintenance.
By providing
financial assistance when needed, both on a regular basis and for
special projects
By working
together on fund raising for special items to add to the beauty of the
building or major renewal.
Active support
will always be most appreciated!
Friends receive
a regular newssheet on activities and events. And a warm welcome
whenever they visit St David’s.
